Theo & Agnes is a TV comedy Drama series based on a newly wed couple from two very different backgrounds.
Theo the businessman and entrepreneur is financially stable, focused and driven in all his endeavours. His wife Agnes is only concerned with the finer things of life and by finer things we mean, expensive cars, luxury trips, holidays, designer shoes, clothes and of course their house.
Money in the Thomas household always seems to be an issue, especially when there is a lot of it and Agnes knows exactly how and where to spend it. Theo on the other hand being brought up in a Nigerian household see’s things very differently to his wife Agnes who was brought up in a Caribbean home. On top of that Agnes doesn’t know how to cook and Theo loves Nigerian food.
Theo’s business starts to take a hit but Agnes knows no end to her spending. The expectations and demands they hold on each other begins to weigh down on what others may call a match made in heaven, but this is hardly their reality.
Theo & Agnes have to work out there differences and though they may have married for the wrong reasons, which is Theo wanted the trophy wife and Agnes wanted a rich man. Both have to work together to make sure their marriage lasts and becomes the heaven everyone describes it as.
Now with the help of a few friends and interesting relatives along the way, things can only get better or can it?
